Map

So, what does this map do?

This AI-powered map serves as a digital directory, pinpointing Black-owned businesses, globally. It filters selected entrepreneurs and creatives by their geographical location, filtering by city, state, country and category. Serving as a living, breathing and growing part of Got Blacklisted, this directories borderless network also simplifies the discovery of and collaboration between Black entrepreneurs and creatives.

The Got Blacklisted map is a visual representation of our vision—to promote, grow and empower Black entrepreneurship, globally through innovative solutions.

Cool, how does it work?

This global digital directory was designed using New Zealand IT expertise. Instead of a litany of Black businesses scattered on various pages this directory takes the shape of a singular and dynamic map. Through custom coding our developers at Webwiz work remotely to manually input shared data from selected business owners.

When a consumer scrolls over a yellow pinpoint on the map it is programmed to automatically showcase a professional photo of the business owner/owners, along with business: location, title, category, and about info.

Additionally, when a user clicks on the businesses name the map links directly to the business owners link of choice (either a professional website, Facebook, or Instagram).
